Thoughts are with you PW. Having lost my own father in May I know what you and the family are going through. RIP

Re: The departed
Sincere condolences PW, and belatedly to cheffy007 on the loss of your Dad. I may have missed that news back in May.
Re: The departed
This is a name that won't mean much to many people but Grant Hart, the drummer/singer-songwriter of Husker Du (as well his own solo and other stuff after the band broke up), has died aged 56.

Re: The departed
For my fellow Irish fans out there, 'Memory Man' Jimmy Magee has died aged 82.
For everyone else, he was a football and boxing commentator on RTE Television. Known as the Memory Man for his ability to recall almost any stat on request. Veteran of 11 Olympics and 12 World Cups.
Not to bring up bad memories for the English guys, but his commentary for Maradonas 2nd goal against England in 1986 lives long in the memory. With each player that Maradona left behind, he kept repeating "A different class... A DIFFERENT CLASS", at increasing volume.
RIP Jimmy lad.
