I heard this on train this morning on my way to work. The man was a true artist. Blessed with the gift of a golden voice (as Leonard Cohen once joked about himself), Scott shunned boy band fame to produce some of the most influential music of the last 50 years. His music became more experimental and challenging over the last couple of decades, sometimes difficult to listen to, but it was never boring. He will be greatly missed.

Former Aussie Cricketer Bruce Yardley died aged 71 after a long battle against Cancer. He played 33 tests for Australia which included series against England in 1978/1979 and 1982/1983, RIP Bruce go play on the big pitch in the sky.

Ranking Roger of The Beat also gone this week aged just 56.
