I know this is supposed to be for famous folk really but in case anyone missed it Simon Stevens aka @WACCOE on Twitter passed away on Monday 9th September. Simon was a home and away Leeds follower of over thirty years and he was a major player on Twitter - nothing to do with the WACCOE forum - who I spent many an hour tweeting with on everything Leeds United related. We don't have all the details yet but he disappeared off Twitter that Monday and after nothing being posted by him for a couple of days a friend of mine contacted me to ask if I'd had contact. After calls around local hospitals and to the South Wales LUFC branch it was discovered he'd not collected his Barnsley ticket. To cut a long story short my friend got the police involved and eventually they confirmed he'd passed away. Efforts are being made to have a WACCOE chant in the 54th minute of Saturday's game with derby and I'm sure there will be other tributes.
