Alistar Cook to retire from international cricket at the end of the India series. England's leading run taker and there will be fear on the county circuit next season with him at the crease.

Absolute madness at Taunton. 22 wickets down on the first day, the other 18 fall by 16:30 on day 2. Match tied.

We were all grouped round at Trent Bridge keeping up on the BBC site. Amazing stuff but I reckon Somerset are due a visit from the pitch inspectors. For me it's Day 3 for our game at Notts.

Cook goes for 147, must admit I got a bit emotional when all the Indian players were shaking his hand.
When you retire, you switch bosses - from the one that hired you, to the one that married you.

Good way for Cook to finish his career on a high as the last few years have been a bit lean for him. Bout time Root got a ton as well, hopefully that will kick start a good run for him.
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.

Jimmy Anderson takes his 564th wicket as England won the 5th test by 118 runs and in the process becomes the leading fast bowling wicket taker going past Glenn McGrath's 563 wickets.
