The weather forecast is fantastic. 4 sell out days virtually guaranteed as well. I’ve missed the cricket but this game was going to be my season highlight. Will miss sitting on the steps of North Bay Fisheries eating haute cuisine fish & chips. Let’s hope the ECB put this showpiece on next year at North Marine Road.
Darkside????

Should have been meeting a guy I went to school with after the cricket tonight a man I’ve not seen for 50 years. Sadly it isn’t going to happen because of the virus. We were both looking forward to a good natter. We lost touch but rediscovered each other on Facebook of all things. Looks like a trip up north is due as & when.

Yorkshire stalwart Tim Bresnan has joined Warwickshire till the end of the season on loan & then he’s getting a 2 year contract. Given his form over the last couple of seasons that’s a generous offer from the Bears. There’s no way YCCC would have offered that so he’s gone down the same road as Liam Plunkett & Jack Brooks neither have proven YCCC wrong in letting them go.

Not the return that England were hoping for, well done to the West Indies for their win. Can see Root return in place of Denly and move Crawley up to 3. The dropping of Broad was shown to be a bad error, he will probably return in place of Wood.
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.

So Jofra Archer dropped for going home. Not sure Dominic Cummings would have survived the ECB regime.

Might be a daft question this, but why weren’t all the players just transferred from one hotel to the other hotel by bus ?.
