Very good win by England, they learnt from the group match where they were well beaten, getting Finch and Warner out early was a must and although Smith and Carey (who i think has being one of unsung players of the tournament) nearly staged a rescue act, the England bowlers kept at them.

This time they knocked Starc out of his groove as well as Behrendorff, Smith going for 21 runs was funny.

England vs New Zealand, we will get a first time winner for a change, can't take the Kiwis lightly they are very unpredictable and are a bit like Pakistan from the 1992 cup final they can win it if England aren't on their game, if England are they should finally get the job done.

Good timing by my Aussie son-in-law (to be) departing back to Oz a day or so before we thrash them :D

Nerves kicking in for tomorrow, tickets are going for crazy money on the black market. We need to treat this game the same as we would as if we were playing India or Australia. Going to be a long 24 hours

Forget the world cup final, there's a bigger game on Yorkshire vs Somerset! ;)
