Bought myself an early birthday present yesterday. Couldn’t resist it plus it’s nice to treat yourself sometimes :D

Telegraph Sport today has a photo of Worcestershire's cricket ground under about 2 feet of water. The narrative stated 'The club announced yesterday that they had shut the ground on the advice of local authorities'. I wonder what they were keeping it open for?
I once played against Don Revie.

What a farcical situation in Australia where England are knocked out of the World Cup without a ball bowled. Why wasn’t there a reserve day set aside ? Feel sorry for the players.
