Scotland playing England at the Grange in Edinburgh in a one off one day international.

Scotland put on 103 for the first wicket and also 93 for the third wicket.

Scotland scored 371 for 5 in their 50 overs.

Englands bowler were pretty one dimensional according to James Anderson on TMS.

42 fours and eight sixes in that incredible Scotland innings.

Will be interesting to see how the Scottish bowlers do against a strong England batting line up.

Scotland won by 6 runs as England did their usual mid innings self destruct.

Just as well it was an unoffical one day game.

It also shoves two fingers up to the ICC that next years world cup should be 16 teams instead of 10.

Well played Scotland yesterday a excellent win in front of a full house in what looked a lovely ground.

I continue my ground hopping today with a visit to Loughborough CC to watch Leicestershire 2's v Kent 2's looking forward to it as we have a lovely forecast here in the East Midlands today

Watched the highlights of the England/Scotland game. There was nothing in the wicket for the spinners but the England pace bowlers seemed to be under orders to bowl long hops, about a foot outside off stump.
I once played against Don Revie.

It's all change at the end of the season as Bresnan & Plunkett are told they can leave. The Rashid contract will not be renewed & Lees has been told he can look for another club. Other contracts that are to run out will not be renewed, although whose I'm not clear on yet. YCCC will play in the quarter finals of the RL Cup later without Root, Bairstow, Willey, Rashid, Plunkett & Pujara, far to big an ask for a YCCC victory sadly. Good win for England last night there was 9 players on the field who have all represented the White Rose, in fact Australia's opening 4 batsmen have played for YCCC, we must have taught 'em summart :D

Not so my friend as YCC have just beaten Essex in the quarters thanks to some good batting by Ballance, Leaning and Fisher and good bowling by Patterson.

Don't forget Stanlake who will be playing T20 for YCC he seemed to bowl well and got his future captain Root out.
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.
