Fish and chips followed by a Kentucky? Wouldn't that be a rather large meal?NottinghamWhite wrote:What's your preference with takeaways for me you just can't beat fish and chips followed by Kentucky fried chicken

Ah, if only we had Taco Bell.....
Defo fish and chips, but only in Yorkshire.
Must say me and the Mrs enjoy doner kebab, and we usually share a large one (Uni takeaway on Mansfield Road for the locals)

Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

Fish and chips but only in Yorkshire. You don't know how true that is. Living down South I miss decent fish and chips, it takes a special skill to produce fish and chips that are crap, but they manage it down here. Also, you have to order Haddock, the standard is Cod and Rock Salmon.

Fish and Chips in Yorks. Indian anywhere else.
When I was young I said to my mum, 'are the hills in the distance America?'

By the way with the fish should it be skin on or skin off

In Yorkshire you always get the fish with the skin off. Down South the skin is always left on. I once asked a fish and chip shop owner (in Leeds) why this was. He said that if the fish is fresh then you can take the skin off before cooking. If it is not fresh then you have to leave the skin on to stop the fish disintegrating while being cooked.

Chinese for me. Love an indian as well but easier to re-create myself at home. Plus there's so much variety with a chinese

All depends what mood I'm in, at the moment Chinese chicken curry, can't beat a bit of msg
Also love a good chicken Jalfrezi, once had one with 22 chillis in it, cured my cold
Like fish & chips but I think the pc brigade have spoilt it, was much better cooked in dripping & served in newspaper, skin on or off I don't mind.
Will not touch kfc out of principle (animal rights)
