This morning it's York hospital for an MRI scan then see him again next week to decide treatment if any.
Back to York hospital tomoz to get results of scan a blood tests.
Good luck SW
Thanks Davy, nightmare journey both ways with all the Xmas traffic (hospital wrong side of York from Selby).
Specialist one hour late only to ask me to have another blood test and see him again next week when he compares it to the one I had two weeks ago (which he said was OK).
Don't want to moan at the national health but could have told me that by email and could do the blood test at Selby which is a 5 min walk from home.

So over 5 hours for a 5 minute chat.

When I went for my cataract operation (8 miles to Windsor, no public transport, so taxi fare), appointment for 8.30am. Everyone had an 8.30 appointment so my turn was in the afternoon after lunch in the hospital canteen. Got home about 4.30 pm.

I read the other day that there's a new eye drop developed that disolves the cataracts without affecting the eye itself.
Not yet on the market though :problem:
