Just mowed my lawn. Temperature over 30C. Fortunately, I had a bottle of London Pride in the fridge, which is now gone. That's my exercise done for this week.

29' here in Southampton with humidity at 49%.

Went and met an old friend for coffee at 2pm and it was ridiculous. I drove into town with the windows open but as Southampton has more traffic lights per mile of road than any other urban area in the UK I quickly closed them and switched to the aircon instead.
We sat inside the café because of their own AC and had a couple of iced coffees over an hour or so and when we stepped out of the building it was like getting out of a plane after landing in Africa :o

Weren't the Picts originally from Scotland rather than England?
