The reason apparently is a lot of the bin-men have being pinged with the COVID-19 app. Both bins are now rammed, will take bottles to Tesco’s but there’s no sign of any collection anytime soon.

Eventually after 12 weeks the glass bins were emptied this morning.

We've been lucky not missed one collection during Covid.

On that note I know it varies from area to area but what bins do people have ?

We have 4 Wheelie Bins -
Grey - General Waste - every 2 weeks
Green - Garden - every 2 weeks
Blue - Plastic, Glass & Tin - every 4 weeks
Brown - Paper - every 4 weeks

We are lucky we have a biggish garden and a yard area at the back to keep them but feel sorry for folk without much space.

Red - Glass - 4 weeks
Green - Recycling - 4 weeks
Black - General - Weekly
Brown - Garden waste - 4 weeks

We keep them in the garage, & the garden one on the patio.

Blue - Plastic, paper, tins (every week)
Green - Garden waste (every two weeks)
Black - General household waste (has been every week but just been advised it will be two weeks)
Small black - Food waste (every week)

Service is really excellent. About a year ago they didn't take the green bin one week. That's the only problem I can remember.

I live in a very rural part of the West of Ireland, so we only have:

Blue - Plastic, paper, tins
Black - General household waste etc

Both collected at same time, every 2 weeks.

Green Bin - Recycling collected every 2 weeks
Our dustbin - Household collected every week
Bruwn Bin - Garden waste collected every 2 weeks which we pay £80 a year for and have had about 2 collections in the last 3 months. Does anyone else
have to pay for garden waste?
