Doctor - “We need to take that off urgently and sent off for testing, can you come back tomorrow ?”.
Me - “Blimey, that serious is it ?”
Doctor - “Possibly, but don’t worry, I’m a Leeds fan and we look after our own”

It’s only then I realise I’m wearing one of my Leeds t shirts :D
Just got home from my surgery, 7 bloody stitches right across my belly.

That’s the end of my Baywatch days
On the mend always good to get it over with.

Take care

Only got to have the stitches out now BB.

When I had my knee replacement they put in 36 staples. After I had been home for a couple of weeks the nurse from my local surgery came round to take the staples out. It took ages and I think I did well not to cry ( bit miffed I didn't get a sweet! :D ) I could feel that she had reached the bottom of the incision and breathed a sigh of relief. Then she spoke the fatal words. 'I've taken every alternate one out, I'll do the others now.'
I once played against Don Revie.

Said earlier in this thread I'm in Guildford this weekend but nearly didn't make it.

Played a York league match on Thursday and slipped and crash landed on my hip and hit my head on the wall (the wall was OK).
Thought I'd broke my hip but nothing more than badly bruised.

Sounds like me and you are keeping the hospitals busy round here SW.

Hope your recovery goes well mate

Thanks BB, Going well seems to be easing with playing this morning.

Not coming home Monday got someone in to fit new bathroom so last week decided to book another holiday to save hassle of them working. Got a real cheap late deal from Gatwick to Malta.
Last time I was there was to watch Leeds beat Valetta in 1979.
