Awful story Corky, pleased you've got the worst behind you.

An awful situation to have to go through Corky, all the best to you and the family.

CW, devastated to read that mate, nearly had to give up reading halfway through. Delighted that it had a happy ending to a nightmare experience. Best wishes to your lad, you and your family. Please tell your lad that we all think he is one brave guy.

Thank you for asking Rigger. She has improved, physically, a lot. But still worries about having a fall. She panics a bit if I go out anywhere (have to have my phone on all the time just in case) which restricts what I can do. I think it will take some weeks yet to get back to normal.

Yeah, I think you're right.
It's as much psychological as physical right now, I'd say.

Doesn't she like playing snooker then ? ;)

Horrendous story CW, puts things in perspective as others have said.

How old is your stepson? Any indication about the long term prognosis?

Best wishes for his recovery and your family's well-being.
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....
