Quick question to you, Guys: I thought "kn" at the start of the word should be correctly spoken as "n" so what about Anthony Knockaert, commentators always speak "kn"?
I found something like this: "I know that in Old English, these clusters were all pronounced, well, "as written", but over the time have changed."

Not sure about him as I've heard his name pronounced every which way but it should be down to the individual - just ask them !

The one that gets me is David Wagner.
He's German, so surely it's Var-g-ner ??
Every time I hear him mentioned, it's Wag-ner, like the Bionic Woman, Lindsey ...

My 5,000th post and I would like to use it to thank all the MODS, administrators and members who contribute to this great forum. I’ve been lucky enough to meet several members, many of whom I now consider as good friends.

Thanks to all.
