Heavy frost this morning but we have had a glorious sunny day, just got in from a 2 hour walk around a private estate in Rustington and all the way back to Littlehampton along the beach, at its best today.

Got shoes and coat on and set off on our morning walk. Got as far as end of our drive before abandoning it.
Our whole cul de sac is just one big sheet of black ice, a little bit dangerous out there.

We had a lot of snow yesterday but it’s all gone now. Just back from my morning walk & it’s fine underfoot.

It rained last night here then obviously froze, its thawing now but that is when its most slippy, whole street looks like a mirror.
Saw Lady opposite take dog for a walk as she does each day, was back in under a minute so clearly thought better of it.

Hope to get out later once its thawed, still only 2 degrees.

Yeah, it’s not great in our village, as you say effectively walking on black ice.

Just been for our walk and although a few icy patches left its clearing, really was horrendous earlier.
Suspect there as been a few extra in casualty today.

Bit miserable out this morning, more sleet than the heavy snow others are getting.

Was up at 05:00 to watch the cricket & it’s been raining now for at least 5 hours.
