Huge thunderstorm directly over my place right now.

How has it gone from a gloriously hot, clear day to an electric storm the likes of which I've not seen since I was last in Africa ?? :wtf:

Must have travelled slowly. We got it at about 3 am with torrential rain.

It actually travelled south-west to begin with - the opposite direction to you - but then came back and hung around for another hour or so before moving away, so I'm not surprised it took a while to get to you.

It was over Bristol for about an hour from around 8pm last night. It was even more interesting that the Queens Birthday Party on the telly. :)
