Davy, that's not news, news from over there is when it stops raining.
Afraid so... I still remember that dry day in Galway... 1997 I think it was. Oh how merry we were...
How does the song go?
If you ever go across the sea to Ireland
It maybe at the closing of the day
You can sit and watch the moon rise over Claddah
Or watch the rain go down on Galway Bay
PS I've just put fertiliser on my lawns which mean it probably won't rain for about 3 months.
Baking hot here currently continuous sunshine, lovely though a bit too hot for me. All the lawns are really parched & turning yellow. They reckon there's more to come as well, bout time we had a decent summer.
In Anglesey for a few days, touched 31 degrees yesterday, which is too hot for me. Thankfully, a decent breeze today, which is making it much more bearable.
When you retire, you switch bosses - from the one that hired you, to the one that married you.
Still 2 weeks off hitting spring but NSW has been declared a drought area (especially for the farmers), can't remember the last time i saw any rain here. This week in NSW there have been 80 bushfires going (and its still winter!!!!), no rain in sight either and temps of around 22-24 degrees don't help. If its like this in Winter what will our summer be like??
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.
