Selby. Any of the Antrim coastal walks are nice (weather permitting). The Gobbins on the east coast of Antrim is very good too (although tough enough going). It's closed for repairs until Spring I think.

Thanks that's great, Early days as its not while September we are coming over (still its good to plan), will have the car but not yet sorted accomodation in NI although ferry is booked.
Plan is 4 nights (3 full days) in NI before heading south. One day will visit Belfast then hopefully two walk days, Mrs SW insists she wants to go to the Giants Causway.

Any Links Davy to good walks preferably circular (8 to 10 miles), one near the Giants causeway would be good.

And to the rest of our Irish Members would be interested if you could advise any in either Galway area or the South West.
The walkNI link ol one eye ;) sent you is probably the best for walks. You'll definitely find a few in there that suit. I know you'll be focusing on walking but I'm sure some of us could maybe get a pre hike pint in with you at some point.

Also consider the Mourne Mountains. Especially around Kilbroney Forest Park where the Narnia story was written about. Newcastle is also nearby, and has some great walks.

Thanks, looking at all the info think we should have planned more than 4 nights in NI, looks great really like the website OET linked.

Early days but we've initially picked these two walks to do in NI thanks to the link one eyed posted :-

http://www.walkni.com/walks/2557/portba ... eway-loop/

http://www.walkni.com/walks/11619/crockbrack-way/

We are staying in Coleraine so looks pretty central to get to the starts.
