As someone who's a diabetic at 50 and whose own father died at the same age in 1974, I think we've come on leaps and bounds in my lifetime.
Feel a bit weird writing that on Father's Day, but maybe it's the best day to post it in some ways ?

My dad is still with us, but my mum passed away a few years back and Mothers Day is always a bit odd now. Obviously, you'll be feeling the same but the other way round Rigger.
