HD Camcorders recommendations

[Another Northern Soul]

Afternoon all, anyone advise please?
Looking for top quality, not high cost, HD camcorders which are easy to use and easy to edit, produce etc after filming.

Probably to be used for a group of supporters wanting to film away days so will need to be quite 'durable' equipment as well.

Amazing machines.
I was given a demo by a rep for a security firm about four or five years ago and was really impressed. The police had been using them for a year or two by then, I think, and they were becoming the norm for lots of similar services and now they're also widely used by cyclists and motorbike riders too.
They were under £100 back then so I'm sure they'll be perfectly affordable.

If they can film Hollywood movies using them (Hardcore Henry) then they should be fine for you, Softcore Soul

That's what I told the Mrs, she said we would only need a 64mb sd card.

I bought a cheap one for about £60 quid earlier this year and I wasn't impressed with the quality and it was clunky as hell. My mate as a old Sony one and that is miles better but not HD.

I did. My Yorkshire education got the better of me. I thought I was getting a steal. Most of the negative reviews are recent.
