Haslet and lettuce sandwich and a bit of pork pie. I was going to do something else but couldn't be arsed.

Haslet, I haven`t had that for ages, I used to do haslet sandwiches for work years ago, I`m going to have to get some now.

I often used to have in my packed lunch for school. Cheapest sandwich cut it my local Tesco. Even cheaper at 5:30 in the evening. Probably not particularly healthy but a memory of times past a la Proust's madeleine. ;)

Booked at Mediterranean restaurant in town (Olive Branch), so couple of beers first then wine with the meal to help take mind off todays result.
