Just got back from Newport, Rhode Island. Freezing cold this morning, wind 40 out of the North, brutal.
Jigged up 1/2 bucket of mackerel, my wife says today it's going to be macks with some sort of tomato gravy.
If I cook em for myself I like to Cajun season then fry them until almost crispy, eat skin bones the lot with a couple cold beers.
I dropped off a few at my buddy who services our cars and froze the rest.

We’re having a go at making our own cod fish cakes later. We have a fish supplier but I swear his fish cakes are 40-50% smaller than they were. Following a Marcus Waring recipe so what could go wrong
