That's why I like fillet steak Davy. Put all the veg in a pan, let it boil away, then waft the steak under the grill. Cheapo ''screw top' wine and hardly any effort involved. :D
John I'm with you on that. I was doing Dry January up until 15 minutes ago then I opened a cheap screw top. 1st glass and I tell you I'm feeling it .... :?

PS Signed up to Naked Wines yesterday, a great offer and no stupid having to but every month.
I signed up with Naked Wines before Christmas. Cheap first case, a £60 voucher towards a Christmas case (which included 4 Christmas presents for my siblings) and I've just taken delivery of my Wet January case.

Locally sourced pork and apple sausages, mash potaotes, homemade Yorkshire pudding, sweet parsnip mash, carrots and turnip cubes all smothered in gravy.

Helped down with a nice Rioja courtesy of Naked Wines

We are having belly pork with carrots, green beans and roast potatoes. As well a rich gravy there will be stuffing and home made apple sauce.
