Our local pub has 50% off meals until Thursday night so we’re going there tonight. They do a mean beef and ale pie so that’s ante post favourite.

Ham and mustard sandwich and picallilli with a plate of chips. Wasn't sure about the glass of red but had one anyway.

Decided to go to the coast today and ended up in Scarborough.

So it was Fish & Chips of course at a nice Fish restaurant before setting off back.

So tonight it will be very little as a little stuffed.

My butcher is top notch. Excellent quality and great service. Last week, I went in to buy some lamb chops, bacon and sausages. He said 'I have just been sorting out my freezer and have got just one spare piece of fillet steak, you can have it with my compliments.' I am having it this evening with chips and peas.

Just put some steak and kidney in the slow cooker will make it into a pie for later. Will be having homemade chips and mushy peas with it.
