What are you having for dinner tonight

We have some cold medium rare beef which will become sandwiches tonight with some chips. It’s too hot to eat a big meal.

Sue had to pick up a top from M&S this morning & two rump steaks fell into her basket. So we’re having them with jacket potato, slaw, garlic butter & ratatouille ( courgettes courtesy of our son in law )

Butter chicken, basmati rice, samosas & mango chutney.

Gammon, egg, chips, peas, pineapple and white bread & butter.

Bought 2 steak medallions this morning, sliced them real thin and tossed them in a bag of cornflour chilli power and five spice. Have been in the fridge in the bag all day. So crispy chilli beef and mushroom stir fry with Hoisin sauce tonight.

This again, it was a big hit.

NW as I know you are a fan, this week Lidl have an offer on Portuguese custard tarts (pasteis de nata). They are made in Portugal and are infinitely superior to the Tesco version.
