Just tried my hand at Chicken Kiev for tonight & I must say they look alright. Be served tonight with hand cut chips, Branston baked beans & coleslaw.

OK go, explain. Not like my daughter's "food" is it? She's one of them vegans (thought at first she went to Star Trek conventions) who eats cheese burgers with no meat or cheese.

Yes, Mrs B is a fully fledged vegan. Although, I don’t eat fish either, following our honeymoon in Jamaica when I was feeding the fish bread out of my hand in the sea, just couldn’t eat fish again.

I must admit I couldn't do without a bit of sea food or meat, speaking of which I've just got to grips with the fantastic chip shop "Belfast pastie" recipe yum yum.
