Nice and easy for match night, fry up some mince and gravy, beside/over mashed spud. Simples.

Lamb chops (from Lidl - wonderful!), cauliflower, mash and gravy. And a glass or two of Pinot Noir
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

Homemade spiced buttermilk chicken burger with chilli jacket wedges and homemade chilli jam. Washed down with a couple of Hobgoblin ales. Yes, the wife has gone away for 2 weeks so it’s eat you want fortnight.

Had a lovely piece of Topside on Sunday. Quite a bit left. Will slice up and do in the pressure cooker marinated in Oxo gravy. New potato's, broccoli and green beans. Got a bottle of IPA in the fridge to go with it.
I once played against Don Revie.

Father-in-law's birthday today so taking them out for dinner at the pub/restaurant at Birkenshaw. As far as value for money goes (always a good thing) this has to be the best place locally and will be the 3rd time we've been there for a birthday this year already.
There's light at the end of the tunnel and the future's looking very bright indeed.

Wychwood also do Vegan beers, which Hobgoblin isn't - just in case he fancies a beer when she's back .... or does she not know many beers are not vegan :shh:
