Tonight’s meal after a visit from our son in law armed with loads of lovely vegetables from his allotment is now a vegetable soup which I’ve just finished preparing and we will have that with some cobs we’ve taken out of the freezer. The kitchen earlier looked like we were having our very own Harvest Festival with potatoes, carrots, courgettes, runner beans and peas in their pods filling the kitchen table.
