Fishless fish, chips and peas. Bread and Butter.

Nothing fishy about that meal mate :D On a serious note how does it compare with the veggie meats ?

The ‘fishless fish’ are probably my favourite vegan option, especially the one we had this time as the batter was perfect and crispy, followed by the Quorn ‘chicken’. I literally cannot tell a difference with the chicken now.

I struggle with the vegan hams and beefs options for sandwiches, I’ve not found a decent alternative there yet, neither have I for the bacon. I’ll pursue it though, as it’s nice to know what you have eaten has not caused an animal to be killed.

My partner has gone vegan, which is a struggle for me even as a vegetarian of almost 20 years. However, I've been substituting ingredients and trying to make some of my favorite dishes "vegan". Last night I made roast potatoes, steamed cauliflower and broccoli topped with a vegan cheese sauce made out of marg, flour, mustard, soy milk and mushroom powder. She accused me of using dairy - it was that good!

Will have samosas as well ,
Wow, that's a word I haven't heard for many years.
My first introduction to samosas was in the early 1970's in Southern Africa. The most popular recipe I encountered I always thought was of an Indian spice origin. Hot day, Cold beer, plate of samosas, more beer, good combination.

Fresh rainbow trout, just caught them a couple of hours ago. Don't know how my wife is going to cook them.
