Now there's another blast from my past, rice pudding. Made another throwback pud on Sunday, bread and butter pudding although I replaced alternate layers with chocolate spread instead of butter. Turned out real nice

Reminds me of back in the late 70's when I was doing my apprenticeship had a supervisor who thought Clough was best thing since sliced bread and hated Leeds. He was so easy to start an argument with it was fun

Anyway he loved Rice Pud and always had it at the Works canteen but would pour on sugar from one of those sugar bowls with a funnel on.
The skill was picking the moment to say something that you knew he would argue with and he would react but forget he was pouring the sugar totally flooding his Pud while spouting rubbish
