Barlow Boy wrote: I know with an Indian curry, it tastes better the day after as the sauce and spices etc, soak into the meat/veg overnight. It was on a television programme regarding Indian cooking.

We get Indian takeaways from a regular place, and the portions are way too big for us so we spread them over two nights. Always better the day after.
We've just knocked a curry up & will be having it tomorrow or Saturday night for that exact reason.

Just had fish, chips and mushy peas at the golf club. Just a ham sandwich tonight with whole grain mustard and a bottle of London Pride.

Just back from shopping and a couple of sirloin steaks for the plate tonight. Will do some dauphinoise potatoes to go with them and asparagus

Had a Mediterranean moment whilst in Tesco, bought Ciabatta rolls seared in olive oil with Prosciutto ham, feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes, stuffed olives, and rocket. Have this often but so easy and tasty especially with a nice glass of red.

Oh sorry guys I can't abide gammon. My dear mother, who was a skilled cook, used to serve it with parsley sauce which still makes me heave....
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....
