Just put a steak & kidney mix in the slow cooker for tonight. Will have dumplings, mashed potatoes, swede & peas with it.

I absolutely adore mince it’s the most versatile meat there is. Cottage/Shepherds Pie, Bolognaise, Lasagne, Moussaka the list is endless.

Same as, love it.

If I'm not cooking for the family, I just fry the mince and let it simmer in very thick gravy, served with just a couple of boiled spuds and some peas.
A beer while watching it simmer always adds to the enjoyment :D
