Re: Favourite Puddings
My mother used to make a pie with blackcurrants grown in our back garden in London. Impossible to top that!
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

Re: Favourite Puddings
Quite boring really, but it would have to be sticky toffee for me.
Re: Favourite Puddings
Vanilla Cheesecake or Profiteroles.
The former when at home, cos I'll make it the way I love it. The latter when eating out cos I'm too critical of their cheesecake

Gooseberry Crumble with custard.
Although admit to liking every pudding I've a very sweet tooth.

Re: Favourite Puddings
I have a weak spot for trifle, but has to be the Birds version (other brands are available). I'm the same with cheesecake, Greenes packet stuff. All comes from a city mother who didn't bake when we were growing up. I fully agree that homemade is waaaaay better, but we thought the processed stuff was brilliant because it was all we had and I suppose it's nostalgia that has me still liking them today.90 miles a hour wrote:....4) trifle
