My mother used to make a pie with blackcurrants grown in our back garden in London. Impossible to top that!
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

Vanilla Cheesecake or Profiteroles.
The former when at home, cos I'll make it the way I love it. The latter when eating out cos I'm too critical of their cheesecake :lolno:

Gooseberry Crumble with custard.

Although admit to liking every pudding I've a very sweet tooth.

I have a weak spot for trifle, but has to be the Birds version (other brands are available). I'm the same with cheesecake, Greenes packet stuff. All comes from a city mother who didn't bake when we were growing up. I fully agree that homemade is waaaaay better, but we thought the processed stuff was brilliant because it was all we had and I suppose it's nostalgia that has me still liking them today.
