Sure do have a Kinks album with the origional on, It's a Ray Davies composition.

Fooled me for years until I heard it on the Kinks album.
Another I found out about at the same time was The Jams David Watts was also a Kinks album track.

A great cover indeed. With the late and very great James Honeyman-Scott on guitar and the late swagger man supreme, Pete Farndon on bass. They died within a year of each other in '82/'83 but they left a fine body of work with The Pretenders.
