During the war you couldn't get brown sauce or ketchup, but after the war we got them and as we hadn't got a fridge we put them in the pantry. Never caused any problem.
Anyway, who want's ice cold sauce on anything?

Just to add, I never use the red stuff either. Kids love it, wife uses it now and again.

Never use either of them mesen, do like salad cream & Branston pickle though.
Mrs PW uses the red and brown stuff occasionally, but we keep 'em in a cupboard, not the fridge.

Love me sauces me. Keep most stuff in fridge (Inc salad cream) but keep Ketchups in the cupboard. Infact i've got a bottle in my work locker.

Is that salad cream or mayonnaise Pock ? I like 'em both but it's a real treat to go to a restaurant & have home made mayonnaise
