Reading 'The Age of Reason' by Jean-Paul Sartre.
In the original French I trust, Si. I found Sartre a tedious writer but an interesting philosopher. Have you read any Camus? A far superior writer in my opinion and only a philosophical half-step away from Sartre.SiMamu wrote:Reading 'The Age of Reason' by Jean-Paul Sartre.

It’s amazing how much joined up writing you can get on the back of a postage stampDavycc wrote:Tis indeed, scribbled whilst on holiday last year.hashtagleedsunited wrote:Is this your own work Davy?Davycc wrote:SiMamu wrote:Reading 'The Age of Reason' by Jean-Paul Sartre.

Why of course . I like it so far. It's quite slow, but I think that's necessary for how much Sartre is putting into depicting his characters. I haven't yet, but I'll be sure to move onto Camus soon enough.Sniffer wrote:In the original French I trust, Si. I found Sartre a tedious writer but an interesting philosopher. Less than you think when it's done in crayon.NottinghamWhite wrote:It’s amazing how much joined up writing you can get on the back of a postage stampDavycc wrote:Tis indeed, scribbled whilst on holiday last year.hashtagleedsunited wrote:Is this your own work Davy?Davycc wrote:SiMamu wrote:Reading 'The Age of Reason' by Jean-Paul Sartre.
