Just sorting out our plans for May, stopping 5 nights in Vegas before picking up a Car and moving around visiting some National parks (Zion, Bryce & Grand Canyon) before a week in Sedona (Arizona), planning a few short hikes while there but it will probably be hot so no silly distances (now where did I put the rattlesnake anti-venom  ).
Then back to Vegas to fly home along a section of the Old Route 66.

I think the thing that surprised us the most was the food, it was stunning in every establishment we visited. We also enjoyed Madame Tussaud’s which was great fun as none of it is roped off. The Hard Rock Cafe on the strip was amazing, you spend most of your time looking at the stuff on the wall.

Have been to LV myself but Mrs SW hasn't, she has mentioned a few times would like to see the place. She likes the countryside also so been able to tag it to a week in Arizona along with visits to a few national parks is making it a big holiday. The more we are putting plans together the more I'm looking forward to it.
Sort of unplanned for this year as we were originally booked to go to Sri Lanka in May but the travel company cancelled it so have come up with this trip.

Flights, Vegas hotel, Car hire & Arizona week are booked.
Just a couple of hotels for the journeys and days in between to book.
