Blimey, that’s one thumping win if correct.

The money we pay to the EU is agreed between all members, including ourselves. It was not imposed on us, and the financial and social benefits we get are worth what we pay
Dealt with the 'law' issue separately as I needed to check something. The Treaty of Rome includes a statement which says:

'States had agreed to limit their sovereign rights in the areas covered by the treaty and could not adopt national laws that were incompatible with EU law.'
I once played against Don Revie.

Its obviously not a certainty, but if true the people have spoken again, and hopefully we will see some action this time. If correct it will be difficult for anyone to dispute that result. Thumping it is. The work for the Tories starts now!

LUFC forum calls it almost correctly: 7 to 4 in favour of Con v Lab compared to exit poll of 368 to 191
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

The people have spoken - that's the problem with democracy

I despair of the lack of awareness. Well done the Sun, mail, Telegraph, etc.

Goodbye to: Scotland, Social equality, honesty, hope, jobs, NHS, international influence

Hello: Deviousness, lies, selfishness, Little England, more inequality, more austerity

Why is it that the Scottish seem more aware?

It seems that people have missed what is REALLY going on. See my previous posts

Good luck over there, you will need it

Thank you, whiteinfrance. I think we need more than luck, to be honest.

I still cannot, for the life of me, understand why the man or woman in the street thinks they will be better off leaving the EU.

For me, they are blaming austerity on Europe instead of the true culprits the Tory Government

So they are saying 'More of the same please'

In a few years someone will have to come in and rescue/reverse the situation

Yep. I just hope that everyone that voted for this shitstorm gets a karma smack. I imagine I will get more abuse for that than I did for the crap spouting comment. Ah well.
