The point was that we still have control over our money and laws while in the EU. WE never lost them. This a myth put out by the leavers

The money we pay to the EU is agreed between all members, including ourselves. It was not imposed on us, and the financial and social benefits we get are worth what we pay

Dealt with the 'law' issue separately as I needed to check something. The Treaty of Rome includes a statement which says:

'States had agreed to limit their sovereign rights in the areas covered by the treaty and could not adopt national laws that were incompatible with EU law.'

Its obviously not a certainty, but if true the people have spoken again, and hopefully we will see some action this time. If correct it will be difficult for anyone to dispute that result. Thumping it is. The work for the Tories starts now!

I still cannot, for the life of me, understand why the man or woman in the street thinks they will be better off leaving the EU.

For me, they are blaming austerity on Europe instead of the true culprits the Tory Government

So they are saying 'More of the same please'
