The perfect roast

Re: The perfect roast
Just had some of the left overs from our Sunday dinner, Leg of Lamb. It goes against my alter ego's feelings but I just love roast lamb.

I enjoy turkey we have it so rarely it’s a treat, lamb runs it a close second.

We are heavily into baked ham at the moment, so it’s ham.

For me, beef is best, but chicken most regularly as the missus doesn't like red meat

Re: The perfect roast
Beef topside is top for me but only by a narrow margin from lamb.
I once played against Don Revie.

John, I'm with you completely.
Beef just nudges it from lamb.
Having said all that, when I do one myself it's invariably chicken, but if I'm out I'll often have pork because I LOVE apple sauce

Love them all but Pork just edges out Beef especially with crackling involved.

Haven’t eaten Lamb since I saw some of them playing in a field on my way to work several years ago

Re: The perfect roast
I genuinely couldn't pick a clear winner between Beef, Lamb, Chicken, Pork. When they are all cooked to perfection (i'm not capable) they are all delicious. So one vote for each.
