Wonder how they are going to get around the 30 at a funeral covid restriction
If they allow more than 30 that is surely confirmation that the covid rules/laws/guidelines are about control and not health

Re: The departed 2
I thought this thread was about paying condolences to people who have departed and not trying to score political brownie points using the magic IF word?
Surely there are other threads you can air your views but at least wait until something happens rather than If then some of us may actually agree.

"Please use this thread from now on to commemorate and comment on the passing of anyone you wish to remember"
Can I just highlight what this thread is about as per the initial post copied above.

My wife and myself have been watching BBC America all day Friday, early morning here when the news broke, all day coverage of latest developments and news. Lots of film clips and interviews with people relating to Prince Phillip's life, especially his early life and career in the navy and fighting in WWII.Seems like he was a bit of a 'Lad', as a younger man and not the quiet, aloof type character displayed in later life.
Many things I didn't know about him, which I should have known. It always appeared that he was in the background, but now becomes evident how much the Queen relied on his advice. Prince Phillip, a credit to the Royal family and the Nation, RIP.

Les Mckeown (Bay City Rollers) has had his last Shang-a-lang.
Only 65 that's another too young.
Not a fan but they were massive in the 70's especially among the girls. Remember all the fashion was tartan based among the college girls.
RIP
