Former Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds died aged 47 in a car crash in Queensland today.
He could have qualified for England and played for Gloucestershire.
Explosive batsman on his day, another taken way too early, RIP Andrew!

Very good writer and a proud Yorkshire woman. A lot of her work was informed by her experiences of growing up and living in and around Leeds and West Yorkshire. She went to college at Bretton Hall and her writing was always 'northern' in flavour.
71 is quite young to die nowadays as well.
