Guilty as charged......
He also said, regarding the use of the lavatory in someone else's house, you must scrub down the entire room with bleach or something afterwards. Guests who are caught short and use the kitchen sink are advised to do so only if they take the dishes out first. (I think I've got this right. Could someone check? Rod.)
Good to know someone else reads this stuff John! His tongue-in-cheek style entertains me endlessly - ok he's a Millscum supporter for some reason, and he's scaled back his anti-LUFC rhetoric recently.

Still guilty as charged though, even having just showered
A few years back (by which I mean over 15 years ago) he used to get the same train as me on his commute from Salisbury to London. It was the first train of the day with not many people on there, so he'd join us railway staff in the back coach. He was writing for the Grauniad at the time and he'd try out some of what he was about to write on us. He seemed a sociable bloke rather than friendly but quite amusing. I always thought he was basing his persona on the American libertarian Gonzo journalists Hunter S. Thompson, Tom Wolfe, P.J O'Rourke et al but not quite pulling it off.

The weathers not so good here today but for me that’s a bad thing. The garden needs a good watering, it should limit the number of groups of mindless people who seem to have given up on social distancing, can’t count to 6 & don’t seem to know how far 2m is. Our park keepers won’t have to clear away barbecues, picnic leftovers & empty beer bottles. Nowt wrong with a bit of rain.

Think I'll give it a miss for now.

Was that last bit meant to be tongue in cheek?

i find it frightning that so many countries are opening their borders so quicky and easily. Here in Oz we stil have our state borders closed (mostly) although in the next month they should start to re-open. For overseas travel we are in talks of a bubble between us, New Zealand and some of the small Pacific Islands to open later in the year, i hope that we don't open to other overseas countries till next year.

I hope the above counties don't regret their choice and get hit again.
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.

Think it's ironic that people are protesting about saving lives at a time and in a way that will potentially put their families lives at risk.

There was a demo in Southampton last night about it and I can assure you that there WAS social distancing going on.
The photos don't reflect well because perspective from a front-view makes everyone look bunched-up when they're actually not.

I can't say what happened in other cities, but down here it was well-observed by everyone and very responsibly handled and it also went off without a hitch.

With respect, it doesn't need many to ignore the distancing rules for chaos to resume, but as is usual with virtually everything these days, there's no middle ground in debates, it's one extreme or the other.

Noticed aerial photos from above Hyde Park, London yesterday... indisputable that some folk are not interested in social distancing rules/advice.
