Definitely up there with the classic films.

Just one question though
"Is it safe ?" :D

Another Western watched yesterday and went for a John Wayne classic "Rio Bravo" definitely one of his best, certainly up there with "True Grit" & "The Searchers".
Great roles played by Dean Martin & Ricky Nelson but Walter Brennan takes the honours playing Old Stumpy.

Next one lined up to watch maybe later today is "Tombstone" with Kurt Russell & Val Kilmer.
As I remember Kilmer is superb as Doc Holiday so looking forward to it, few years ago I last watched it.

War movie time with -

The Bridges at Toko-Ri and one of my faves 633 Squadron. Then James Bond after that....good day to chill and relax.
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.

Do like a Bond Movie have a few of the older ones on video (VHS).
Last one I watched was "From Russia with Love" classic movie.
Also agree on war movies some good ones out there, difficult to pick one above the rest.

Yeah me too. Die another day today not the best but thankfully not Timothy Dalton!!!!

For war movies A Bridge too far + The Longest Day stand out for me but there are so many good ones especially the early ones. Not quite the same but Zulu and Zulu Dawn are right up there.

Add Bridge at Remagen & Where Eagles Dare to those and of course Bridge on the River Kwai.

Yep so many to pick. Might have to get some of my DVD's out and watch a few over the coming months. Know I have the 3 you mentioned and others such as the Dambusters, Das Boot, at least 2 versions of all Quiet on the Western Front + a few more!
