Set things up to record Whisky Galore & The Lavender Hill Mob. Hadn’t realised TCM were doing a Pinewood Studios week. Love the movies from the 1950’s loved Will Hay with Moore Marriott & Graham Moffatt.

Well we watched The Lavender Hill Mob last night & really enjoyed it. Good old fashioned fun with no sex, violence or expletives.

Got a couple of Ealing box sets and I introduced Jeanna to the studio a couple of months ago with The Ladykillers.

LHM is a classic - Sid James has a small role, doesn't he ?
Great storyline.

Sid does only have a bit part. Alfie Bass was great always remember him for Bootsie & Snudge with the marvellous Bill Fraser
