What's the one with Kirk Douglas based on trying to blow up the Heavy Water plant in Norway, was on TV a few weeks back and can't remember the name.
Well worth watching.

Definitely lots of great war films about, all mentioned are well worth watching

Another area where there is a surplus of great films is prison based films.

Of course such as "Bridge on the River Kwai", "The Great Escape" & "The Colditz Story" can be judged in both category's.

But other prison based must be seen films are in my opinion (not in any specific order)
Cool Hand Luke
Shawshank Redemption
Green Mile
Midnight Express
Escape from Alcatraz
Papillon
Brubaker

Had never realised that The Shawshank Redemption was a spin off from Escape From Alcatraz. There was a period when there was loads of psychological thrillers out.

The Hand That Rocks The Cradle
Cape Fear
Fatal Attraction
Pacific Heights
The Silence of the Lambs

All terrific movies

Not often I prefer remakes but Cape Fear with De Niro & Nolte was a great film.
