Favourite smells

Post by NottinghamWhite »

Mine are :-

Freshly cut grass
Coffee
Tarmac ( I know  )
Fresh bed linen
Bacon ( how anyone is a veggie after the aroma of bacon is beyond me  )

There’s more but that’ll do for now.

Yes agree it’s intoxicating it really is. Hate cheap perfume/ after shave but a nice Dior is lovely a cheapo is an attack on the senses.

Coffee above all others.
My favourite time at work is when I get a case of beans early in my shift (I load for UPS) and I can smell it every time I enter that van .. four hours of that, then I race home and grab the espresso pot :)

I like the smell of the sea as I've lived next to it pretty much my entire life.
A chip shop can be nice, but not always.
Petrol is a big favourite of mine - never wear the gloves when I'm filling up.
Swarfega :D
Tippex Thinners :D :D
My cat's breath :D :D :D
Coal tar soap.

Thick, quality art paper, the kind you get in coffee table books or expensive mags and catalogues.

It's second only to coffee for me - can't believe I didn't think of it sooner :)

The smell of a shower evaporating from the road on a hot summer day.
The smell of your new babies head.
Onions, garlic and tomatoes frying.
