Talking Sheff Utd stadium can anyone confirm I'm correct but I seem to recall when they built the 4th stand on the cricket ground we were their first opponents.
Sort of 70/30 on this and can't find any written evidence to confirm.

One fact I'm positive on is that the record attendance at Bramall Lane is when Leeds came to town (68,000).

Yep. Funnily enough the Bramall Lane question was on comms during Yorkshire’s recent game & via Twitter I was the first to answer correctly A lot said Bradford Park Avenue

I had to look this up to make sure my memory was correct, guess I do remember some things. Park Avenue had a back to back stand between the football pitch and the cricket field.Must have been at least 55 years since I was there. Only other football/ cricket ground besides Brammal Lane was Northampton.

A couple of weeks on from this, been nagging me, I had to investigate further.
I was certain Crystal palace ground had been used for these events.
I confused Selhurst Park with the crystal Palace exhibition stadium.
The Crystal Palace exhibition stadium hosted the FA cup final from 1895 till 1914. It recorded the first 100,000 crowd in the world [counted].
Kent county cricket club and London cricket club played there late 1800's and around turn of century.
In 1880 and 1888 an England cricket XI played the Australians, had seen reference to this but not sure if it qualifies as a 'Test Match'. in 1906 a all star WG Grace XI played the West Indies
This is where I was confused, England football did play an international, versus Wales in 1926, but this was at Selhurst Park, new stadium for Crystal Palace FC.

In 1953 I got changed in the home dressing room in the Elland Road main stand that got burned down in 1956.
