Re: Laminate Flooring or Fitted Carpet
Having now tested the heels on a number of services we've visited a couple of local Carpet shops who have both been out to measure up.
We've decided to go with Laminate in the hallway but still not sure about style and colour.
Lounge we are still undecided whether to go with Laminate or Carpet so getting prices for both.
Its quite a big lounge so not going to be cheap either way

Re: Laminate Flooring or Fitted Carpet
Went for the Laminate which we had fitted yesterday with the exception of one small corner which still needs finishing.
An error on the carpet shops part as we were one pack short, so think they need a new tape measure
Looks really good, I like it
We are going through the whole house giving it a revamp, expensive one next as getting a new kitchen in January. Need to move the Gas central heating boiler first as its currently in a stupid place under a kitchen cabinet.
Got an heating engineer booked in November so all been well everything will go to plan, unless Covid strikes.

Good choice SW, we only have carpet on the stairs and landing, so much easier to keep clean. If you haven't got one invest in a good steam cleaner.Selby White wrote:Went for the Laminate which we had fitted yesterday with the exception of one small corner which still needs finishing.
